I&RS

In collaboration with classroom teachers and administrators, the I&RS Team will work to maximize the efficient use of resources to target interventions for at-risk students based on their individual needs. Through regular monitoring of student progress and data-driven decision making, the I&RS team will provide a continuum of supports and interventions based on student performance. With the goal of supporting the classroom teacher, the I&RS team will offer a variety of evidence-based practices designed to improve achievement and promote positive student outcomes.

Child Study Team

The Child Study Team is comprised of the School Psychologist, School Social Worker, and Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant. Each member of the team serves as a case manager for students found eligible for special education and related services, and is primarily responsible for determining eligibility, developing the IEP, and monitoring student progress and IEP compliance. The key to student success is a strong partnership between school and home, so the CST members work closely with students and families, school staff and related service providers, to ensure that students are maximizing their learning while preparing them for life after graduation.
